Welcome back to
saiyuki_wk_au for 2013! We're starting off the new year with a different kind of challenge:
your anonymous AU prompts. THE CHALLENGEFrom today until January 31, we welcome you to
post AU prompts on this post, as many as you like
(format noted below) (all comments are screened; your prompt will remain anonymous). On
February 1, we will post all the prompts for members to choose from and fill to their hearts' content!
THE PROMPTSYour prompt must be an AU, and of course it must contain either Saiyuki or Weiss Kreuz (or both, or other fandom crossovers
with either Saiyuki and/or WK). Be sure to mention if there's anything you do or do not want to see (e.g., "no non-con please" or "I'd like a happy ending"). Note that this is a multi-media comm, and your prompt may be filled via fic, art, cosplay, poetry, video, macrame, etc.; it's a surprise--enjoy it! Prompts can be filled more than once.
Though prompts will be posted anonymously, you are certainly welcome to reveal yourself to whoever fills your prompt in February.
Anyone can post prompts--even if you will not be filling requests in February.
THE PROMPT FORMATAU: (must be an AU;
i.e., an assassins AU for WK isn't really in the spirit--let your imagination run riot)
Fandom: (must contain either Saiyuki or WK or both; other fandom crossovers with Saiyuki and/or WK are welcome)
Pairing: (if any)
Prompt: (the prompt) (plus any notes, if needed)
(sample)
AU: Dystopic futuristic fairytale fantasy AU
Fandom: Saiyuki
Pairing: Hakkai/Gojyo
Prompt: Like the original telling of Rapunzel, Gojyo is the long-haired innocent trapped in a tall tower, and Hakkai is the amorous knight cyborg who climbs up, seduces, and accidentally impregnates him. Bonus points for evil witch scientist Chin Yisou, and for Hakkai having his eyes torn out by brambles (but his vision is restored by Gojyo's tears).THE FILLSOn February 1 we will make a post listing all of the submitted prompts. From February 1-28 anyone may take up a prompt and fill it (no need to make a comment/post "claiming" it). Filled prompts can be posted to the comm by the creator in their own post. Any prompt may be filled more than once. There are no size restrictions on fills: you can post an epic, a haiku, a doodle, a photorealistic oil painting, a hasty love letter, etc. Anyone can fill requests--even if you didn't post any prompts.
