In January we solicited your prompts, and now we're ready to unleash a great refreshing wave of prompts upon you. Take a giddy breath and click the cut links below!

All of February we welcome anyone to take up a prompt and fill it (no need to make a comment/post "claiming" it) (anyone can fill requests--even if you didn't post any prompts; we welcome all comers). Any prompt may be filled more than once. There are no size restrictions on fills: you can post an epic, a haiku, a doodle, a photorealistic oil painting, a pithy drabble, etc.

Filled prompts can be posted to the [livejournal.com profile] saiyuki_wk_au comm by the creator via their own posting. (Please do not post fills in this post; this is just where the list of prompts lives.)

If you like one of the prompts below but have a burrrning question about it, you're welcome to ask questions of the prompter in the comments section of this post. We can't guarantee you'll get an answer from your anonymous prompter, but it's worth a shot? Otherwise just take these prompts up in the fun and creative spirit in which they were offered, and let your instincts guide you. (You are also ttly welcome to comment here with "yay!"s and discussion, of course!)

THANK YOU to everyone who so generously offered up prompts! YOU DID BOTH FANDOMS PROUD.

Questions? Comment here or contact lauand or indelicateink! :)

Welcome back to [livejournal.com profile] saiyuki_wk_au for 2013! We're starting off the new year with a different kind of challenge: your anonymous AU prompts.

THE CHALLENGE
From today until January 31, we welcome you to post AU prompts on this post, as many as you like (format noted below) (all comments are screened; your prompt will remain anonymous). On February 1, we will post all the prompts for members to choose from and fill to their hearts' content!

THE PROMPTS
Your prompt must be an AU, and of course it must contain either Saiyuki or Weiss Kreuz (or both, or other fandom crossovers with either Saiyuki and/or WK). Be sure to mention if there's anything you do or do not want to see (e.g., "no non-con please" or "I'd like a happy ending"). Note that this is a multi-media comm, and your prompt may be filled via fic, art, cosplay, poetry, video, macrame, etc.; it's a surprise--enjoy it! Prompts can be filled more than once.

Though prompts will be posted anonymously, you are certainly welcome to reveal yourself to whoever fills your prompt in February.

Anyone can post prompts--even if you will not be filling requests in February.

THE PROMPT FORMAT
AU: (must be an AU; i.e., an assassins AU for WK isn't really in the spirit--let your imagination run riot)
Fandom: (must contain either Saiyuki or WK or both; other fandom crossovers with Saiyuki and/or WK are welcome)
Pairing: (if any)
Prompt: (the prompt) (plus any notes, if needed)

(sample)
AU: Dystopic futuristic fairytale fantasy AU
Fandom: Saiyuki
Pairing: Hakkai/Gojyo
Prompt: Like the original telling of Rapunzel, Gojyo is the long-haired innocent trapped in a tall tower, and Hakkai is the amorous knight cyborg who climbs up, seduces, and accidentally impregnates him. Bonus points for evil witch scientist Chin Yisou, and for Hakkai having his eyes torn out by brambles (but his vision is restored by Gojyo's tears).

THE FILLS
On February 1 we will make a post listing all of the submitted prompts. From February 1-28 anyone may take up a prompt and fill it (no need to make a comment/post "claiming" it). Filled prompts can be posted to the comm by the creator in their own post. Any prompt may be filled more than once. There are no size restrictions on fills: you can post an epic, a haiku, a doodle, a photorealistic oil painting, a hasty love letter, etc. Anyone can fill requests--even if you didn't post any prompts.

Questions? Comment here or contact [livejournal.com profile] lauand or [livejournal.com profile] indelicateink! :)

It's that time of the year already! The time to catch up with all the stuff we wanted to do but never found the time! Let's revisit our favourite topics that were left unattended for so long!

You'll find all the possible past prompts under the tag "challenges". We're looking forward to your entries!!

Title: Chemical Distraction
Author:[livejournal.com profile] summerbutterfly
Rating: R for nudity, cursing, implied drug use and some non-violent dubcon.
Summary: Anything can happen on Halloween...
A/N: A long time ago, I wrote an AU for model month about MFA candidate Gojyo and his secret admirer/model Hakkai. This story happens in that verse. For Dark Magic month.

I intended to get this posted for Halloween but Hurricane Sandy had other ideas. Better late than never I suppose!

Title: From the Ashes
Author: draelynn akaoracle_dreams
Fandom: WK / Saiyuki (in later chapters)
Rating: R - for horrorshow violence
Summary: The end of the world has arrived and it is not the one anybody could have anticipated. But assassins are uniquely qualified at surviving a zombie apocalypse. Can they overcome their differences long enough to save what little is left of the world?
Disclaimer: WK is not mine no matter how many times I click my heels...
A/N: Many thanks to crescentium for the beta. Last edits and all mistakes are my own.

Yes, I am the worst mod in the world (because it's again my fault and not indelicateink's that the post is this late in the game), but well, we all know that Halloween is creeping nearer and nearer and we have thought that some celebration is in order! So this "month" is time for:

Pic taken from the Internet, no idea about the authorship

Because Halloween is the perfect season to complet rituals and be witches or warlocks or dark mages and conjurers of some kind. Maybe some summoning is in order, or better yet, SOME SEX MAGIC (I bet there are tons of situations where a good sex ritual is unavoidably needed). I don't know, let the Halloween spirit inspire you!

HOLY...O_O! Past Prompt #6; Halloween!

Well, it's nearly October so I suppose it is time to revisit zombies. :)

Okay, people, time for us to deceive the unsuspecting and take all of their money. Because September's challenge is:

(I love that damned movie)

Ambitious Ponzi Schemes, cheap street scams, pidgeon drops, badger games... anything you can come up with and more!

Con artists, this is your month!

[identity profile] lauand.livejournal.com
Hi!

Sorry for being such a lousy mod lately. Following the people's wishes who spoke up when the question arose, the "dystopia" challenge gets extended till the end of August. There were votes pro and against, but in the end the extension won (for which I'm happy, because I still want to do some dystopic project, dammit!). I know I should have posted this on August 1st, but I was away at the time and when I came back I sort of "left it for tomorrow", "tomorrow" being an indefinite day different from "today".

Okay, enough rambling!! I apologize once again for the possible inconveniences and look forward to your dystopic entries!
[identity profile] lauand.livejournal.com

Before I submerge myself into this dystopia thing, I wanted to post another past prompt pic. You'll have to take my word on its Gojyoness. Or imagine he is whoever you wish him to be.

No paper is cheaper than free paper. )

[identity profile] lauand.livejournal.com

Hmmm... I'd like to apologize first because, once again, I told indelicateink that I would make the post and, well, it's sort of, ehem, late. And for that reason I'd like to ask: would you like an extension so that this challenge covers month and a half or would you rather we set a new challenge for August, in just 15 days from now? Any kind of input is welcome!

Anyway, here's the prompt for this July! (Press the image for the definition according to Wikipedia)

We've been sort of futuristic lately, have we not?

A couple of inspirational pictures (pffff) after the cut!

Please, Mr. Lang, do forgive me. )

[identity profile] obsolete-theory.livejournal.com
So I meant to have this done before now, but the rough draft would not cooperate with me. (For some reason, the beginning came so easily, and then I had no way to finish it.) I've polished the best I can, but I know it's still on the sketchy side.

Title: Almostageddon
Rating/Warnings: R, mostly for language. Also oblique talk of harems and mansex. Apocalyptic humor.
Challenge: Post-Apocalypse
Summary: The apocalypse comes. It does not live up to Schuldig's expectations, but it's still the end of the world as he knows it.
Word count: just over 1000 words.

Challenge: Roman AU
Warnings – none
Wordcount: 373
Summary: Making their way in imperial Rome, four young men with unusual powers aim for a better position in life.

The title is taken from a quote of Marcus Tullius Cicero, Oh happy Rome, born when I was consul!

Oh, Happy Rome )
[identity profile] lauand.livejournal.com

Hmmm... I sort of super-suck. Because I told indelicateink that I would make the post... back when it was May or so. So the delay is completely my fault. Anywaaaaaaaaaaaaaay... it's the middle of the year! I think it's a great time to reflect and revisit all the prompts we wanted to fill just for RL to frustrate our attempts and good will. So June is past prompts again!

You can take a look at all the prompts if you visit the tag "challenges" or, for a quick view, here's the list:

Title: Revenge Worth Waiting For
Author: [livejournal.com profile] oracle_dreams
Fandom: WK | Nagi, Crawford, Schuldig
Rating: PG13
Summary: Crawford will have his revenge exactly as he has seen it... no matter how long it takes.
Warnings: pseudo-character death
A/N: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] daeger for the inspiration found in her challenge fic Ghost In The Machine. Unbeta'd as usual. All mistakes are my own.

Nagi didn’t need to turn around to feel Crawford’s presence enter the room.  )
