June Challenge: Pirates & Highwaymen

Thank you to everyone who joined us in posting works in May!

For the June challenge, we're bringing out the scoundrels--in two favorite flavors: Pirates & Highwaymen.



Your Saiyuki or Weiss Kreuz works this month must involve alternate universes featuring either pirates or highwaymen. (Or both, if you're feeling extra intrepid!) Any form of fanwork is accepted and encouraged (writing, drawing, photoshopping, composing... whatever you feel inspired to do), as well as any pairing, rating, length... (although I think that shota goes against LJ ToS, so I'm afraid that wouldn't be permitted). Works may be posted to the community June 1 through June 30.

If you wanted to post an entry to last month's challenge but didn't make the May 31 deadline, you are still welcome to post your work.

I find anime style really challenging, too. But though it may not turn out to be what was in your mind's eye, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not worthwhile in its own right...? At least, that's the stance I've adopted with my own stuff... ;)

I can’t really draw people at all, anime style or not…. I actually already had a picture I drew years ago of Yohji that would have fit last month’s theme. Waaaay too embarrassed to post it, lol.

But I’m muse on this one. It’s an alluring enough theme I might make a lousy attempt, hmmmm.
